Photographer’s Guide to the Panasonic Lumix LX7 is now available in a downloadable PDF version through this site. Today, I sent the final files for the paperback version to the printer. If everything goes according to the usual schedule, the printer should send me a proof copy sometime next week, and, if the proof looks okay, the printed book will start to become available at Amazon.com, and, later, other sites, including Barnes and Noble (bn.com) and others.
The paperback version of the book will have a retail price of $24.95, which may or may not be discounted from time to time by Amazon and Barnes and Noble. I will post further updates about the availability of the paperback book as the printing process unfolds.
I also sent out today the files for converting the book to formats for the iPad, Kindle, and compatible e-readers. That process will take at least ten days, and probably longer. I will post information here when those versions of the book are available for sale.
As of today, Photographer’s Guide to the Panasonic Lumix LX7 is available for purchase through this site in a downloadable PDF version for $9.95. The new book follows up on earlier books about the Lumix LX3 and LX5, covering all features and controls of the LX7 digital camera. This book is longer than the others, at 424 pages, and contains more than 400 photographs that illustrate the menu screens, controls, and image-capturing capabilities of this sophisticated camera.
For more information about the book, please see the book’s main information page on this site.

Over the past several weeks, several people have sent me messages asking about the status of Photographer’s Guide to the Panasonic Lumix LX7. I had said the book would be ready in January, and January is now more than half over, so I am posting this brief update to let you know the current situation.
I have been working on the book for a few months, taking the photographs, writing the text, and going through the editing process. I sent a draft to several LX7 users who agreed to provide comments, and the comments have all been received and the suggestions have been incorporated into the book. Now I’m working on the index, and I’m still shooting for a January date to publish the book in PDF format for download through this site. The paperback version will come out within a couple of weeks after that, and the Kindle and ePub versions will probably take at least another few weeks.
So, the book will be coming soon. To everyone who has been asking about the book, I appreciate your interest, and thanks for your patience! I should soon be posting a notice about the availability of the PDF version.
