White Knight Press has released a new guide book for the Sony DSC-RX100 II camera as of October 14, 2013. The new book, Photographer’s Guide to the Sony DSC-RX100 II, is similar to the existing book about the original Sony model, the RX100. The new book has been completely revised to cover the new features of the RX100 II, including built-in Wi-Fi capability for image transfer and remote control; the tilting LCD display screen; the hot shoe that can accept an external flash, electronic or optical viewfinder, or other accessories; ability to use a Sony wired remote control; and some other tweaks to the camera’s menus and features.
The book about the Sony RX100 II camera is 455 pages long, and includes approximately 400 color images that illustrate the camera’s menus, controls, and display screens, and that provide examples of images that can be taken with the camera’s shooting modes and creative settings, including Picture Effect, Dynamic Range Optimization, Creative Style, and others. The book includes full descriptions of all menu options and other features of the camera, as well as many tips for getting excellent results using the camera’s options.
