Sony DSC-RX100 Book is Available Again for Ordering from Amazon.com

As I have noted here recently, there have been some problems with the availability of the paperback version of Photographer’s Guide to the Sony DSC-RX100 from the Amazon.com site.  For a reason that I don’t understand, a week or so ago Amazon stopped listing the book as available for ordering directly from them; it has been continuously available from third-party sellers such as White Knight Press, but some purchasers prefer ordering directly from Amazon, in order to get Prime shipping or to use Amazon gift certificates, etc.

I contacted both Amazon and the print-on-demand company that prints the books (Lightning Source), and apparently they have worked out whatever glitch was keeping the book from being listed as either in stock or available for ordering. As of today, the book is listed as being in stock as of December 19, with ordering from Amazon.com available now.

So, if you would like to order the book from Amazon, or just would like to see the book’s information page at that site, please click on the button below:

Of course, the book is also available from other sellers, including Barnes & Noble and many others.  It is available in PDF, Kindle, and ePub formats as well.  Please see the book’s information page on this site for more details.

UPDATE on Dec. 12:  For about the last day or two, the Amazon listing went back to “Available from these sellers” only, and there was no way to order it directly from Amazon.  Today it went back to “In Stock December 19,” for a while, but then it changed back to “Available from these sellers only.”  I will keep monitoring the situation, but I won’t try to keep posting updates, because the book’s in-stock status has been changing too often. Today I shipped a good number of books to Amazon to be sold through Amazon Marketplace, in the “New” category, beneath the main listing.  Those books should be available by December 14.  They will qualify for Prime shipping and other quick  shipping methods by Amazon.
