Fujifilm has announced the upcoming release of its 1.4x teleconverter lens for the X100 and X100S cameras, each of which has a fixed lens. This new add-on lens will change the 35mm-equivalent focal length of either camera’s 35mm lens to 50mm. Here is a link to an announcement at dpreview.com. According to the announcement, users will need to upgrade the firmware of the camera in order to use the new lens. Further details, including price, will be released later.
