Well, finally the book about the Leica D-Lux 5 digital camera has progressed from “Unavailable” to “Temporarily Out of Stock” to actually being available, and shipping within 1 to 4 weeks at Amazon.co.uk.  It has taken several weeks for the system to move forward to this point, but it’s an encouraging sign.  There are still some third-party sellers offering the book on that site (including me), but now it’s good to know that Amazon itself has the book readily available through the print-on-demand process.  The next step now will be for the book to be kept physically in stock, so it can be shipped for next-day delivery in the U.K.  That process will probably take several more weeks, and it may depend on how well the book sells.
