My newest camera guide book, Photographer’s Guide to the Sony DSC-RX100 II, recently went on sale at Amazon.com in its paperback version. It was available for quick shipment direct from Amazon for several days, but then, a couple of days ago, for no apparent reason, Amazon started listing the book as available through third-party sellers only.
I have checked with Lightning Source, the print-on-demand company that provides copies of the book directly to Amazon, and they are investigating what happened with the distribution channel. I hope they will have the problem fixed within a day or so. It’s very frustrating to have a new book listed at Amazon, when potential purchasers cannot buy it directly from Amazon and get Prime shipping and other standard services.
In the meantime, you can find the book listed as available for immediate shipment at Barnes & Noble through its online site, bn.com.
Of course, the book also is available in downloadable versions through this site, as well as through Amazon, the iBookstore for Apple, Barnes and Noble, and Kobo.
