I have just posted to YouTube a short video on how to control exposure compensation in the manual exposure modes (for stills and video) with the Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS200 camera, which is known as the TZ200 in some areas. Normally, you use the Up cursor button on the back of the camera, which is assigned as the exposure compensation button. In the manual modes, though, that button does not work for that purpose. For still photography in M mode, you can use the Quick Menu to adjust exposure compensation. When recording a movie, though, in Creative Video mode with Exposure Mode set to Manual Exposure, you have to set the Control Ring to adjust exposure compensation. To do that, you use the Ring/Dial Set option on screen 3 of the Custom menu.
More information about this and other topics is found in my book, Photographer’s Guide to the Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS200/TZ200, which will be available by late June 2018.
