Yesterday a reader who had purchased the downloadable versions of the Sony RX10 book through this site asked if I could provide a larger version of the ePub file, to give higher resolution for the images when viewed on an iPad. I checked into this, and I was able to provide a version which does appear to give a better viewing experience on newer iPads.

If anyone who purchased the downloadable versions of the RX10 book through this site through April 5 would like to have the larger version of the ePub file, just send a message to contact@whiteknightpress.com or use the Contact form on this site, making reference to your order number or the e-mail address you used when placing the order.  I will then send you the larger version of the ePub file.

For reference, the smaller version of the file is about 20 megabytes in size, while the larger version is about 59 megabytes.

If you purchased the RX10 book through Apple’s iBooks Store, you will have received the larger-sized file, which is the only version available there.

Also, I have produced a larger version of the .mobi file, which is used on Kindle devices. I’m not sure if there is a very noticeable difference in quality in that larger file as opposed to the one that was distributed earlier, but if anyone who has purchased the Kindle version through this site or through Amazon will contact with me with information about the order, such as order number, I will be glad to send you a copy of the larger file.  (The larger file, about 65 megabytes, is too large to be uploaded through the Kindle publishing system, so the file available at Amazon is the normal-sized file, about 23 megabytes.)
