A little while ago I received from the printer the overnighted copy of Photographer’s Guide to the Sony DSC-RX10, the book I have been working on for the past few months. The proof copy looks good, and I have approved the title for production by the printing company. I’m including below a photo of the proof so you can get an idea of what the physical book looks like. (It’s longer than any of the other camera books I have done, with 486 numbered pages, not counting the Table of Contents and other introductory material.)
Now that the proof has been approved, the book will be listed as a product at Amazon.com within the next few days. At first, it may be listed as unavailable or out of stock, then available with shipping within 1 to 3 weeks, and then it should start to be listed as shipping more quickly. I will post updates at this site as the book’s availability changes.
The RX10 book is currently being prepared for sale in e-book formats, also: PDF, ePub (for iPad, iPhone, Nook, Kobo, Sony, etc.), and .mobi (for Kindle). As of now, the projected date for completion of the e-book versions is the first week of April. I will post updates about that process also.
