It takes quite a while for a new print-on-demand book, like my book about the Leica D-Lux 5 camera, to become continuously available through Amazon.co.uk, the United Kingdom site for Amazon. Over the past few weeks I have tried to keep the book available there by signing up as a third-party seller through Amazon Marketplace on the UK site, and shipping the books directly from here in the US to buyers in the UK and Europe. This system has worked fairly well, but now I have run out of books again. I have re-ordered from the printer, but my new supply of books won’t arrive until later in the coming week, and I won’t list them as available for sale on Amazon until I actually have them here.
I was hoping some other sellers would pick up the slack and start selling the D-Lux 5 book on Amazon.co.uk. As of now, there are two other sellers, but their prices are a bit high. One of the sellers lists the book as Used for some reason, though, if you look at the details of the listing, the book is described as brand new. So, there are options to purchase the book now, and I will be listing books directly on that site as soon as they arrive from the printer.
