Until a few days ago, Photographer’s Guide to the Fujifilm X10 was fully available from Amazon.com, meaning it was listed as in stock and ready to ship quickly. Then, as sometimes happen, its availability slipped to shipping within 1 to 3 weeks. That status is not so bad, because the book usually ships fairly quickly. Now, though, for the past couple of days, the book has been listed as not available directly from Amazon, and available only through third-party sellers on Amazon Marketplace.
I don’t know why this happened. I have sent messages to Lightning Source, the print-on-demand company that supplies books to Amazon, but haven’t received a firm answer yet. In the meantime, I have listed a few copies of the book at Amazon as a third-party seller using my seller ID of “alexstrawhite.” I try to always ship books by the next business day after an order is received. So, if you want a paperback copy, you can order from me or one of the other third-party sellers. In the meantime, I’ll do what I can to see about getting the book to show up again as available directly from Amazon.com.
Here is a link to the book’s page at Amazon.com that lists the offers from third-party sellers.
