Anyone who has followed developments for sales of my camera guide books over the past several months knows that, for some reason, Amazon.com started showing some of the titles as being available for shipping “within 2-3 weeks” rather than for immediate shipping. For all but one of the books, this issue has resolved itself, and the books can be ordered for quick shipping, including one- or two-day shipping for Amazon Prime members. One title, Photographer’s Guide to the Canon PowerShot S95, still has the 2-3 week availability listing. To deal with that issue, I have just shipped some more books to Amazon to be sold through my own seller account, under the seller name alexstrawhite. Those books show up when you click on the listing for “New” copies from other sellers. They are shipped through the “Fulfilled by Amazon” program, meaning they are already sitting in Amazon’s warehouse, and can be shipped out very quickly.
So, if you need one of these books more quickly than within 2-3 weeks, you can order from the above link and the book will ship promptly. You can also order from camerabooks.com, which is a very reliable seller that has the book in stock and ships quickly. And, Barnes & Noble also has the book available for quick shipping.
